• Know how to swim.
• Weight less than 120 kg, height less than 2 m (check with the beach center if weight and / or height equal to or greater than those indicated).
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult. A minor will not be allowed to leave alone without the corresponding authorization of an adult.
• Prior reservation recommended.
• Comply with the regulations of use and safety of the material, following the instructions given by the staff of the company especially in relation to the use at all times of the life jacket, the number of suitable places for each type of kayak and weather and sea conditions.
• Inform the center in advance in case of suffering any disability, any pathology or state of gestation that must be taken into account for the practice of kayaking.
• Respect the agreed time of departure and arrival of the rental.
• A late arrival can be a reason for loss (partial or total) of the reservation.
• We recommend arriving 15/20 minutes in advance to get ready and start on time.
• It is the responsibility of the client to travel to the place of departure of the activity. The rental service has the starting point on the beaches of: Tamariu (Palafrugell), Platja de Castell (Palamós), Cala Montgó (L’Escala) and Portllligat (Cadaqués). Beach locations are available on this website.
• Our activities are subject to weather and sea conditions, this means that Kayaking Costa Brava might be forced to communicate last minute changes or the cancel any reservation. Kayaking Costa Brava always communicates these changes as soon as possible through a phone call/email, for this reason we recommend to have your pone/email switched on the day before. Kayaking Costa Brava is not responsible for unnecessary travel by the client.
• For safety reasons customers will not be allowed to use kayaks under alcohol / drug effects, or any strong medication that might affect their capabilities. In the event of non-compliance, the customer will lose the reservation and will not have any right to the payment of any amount paid in advance.
• It is recommended not to bring valuables to the beaches. Kayaking Costa Brava does not have an adequate structure for the custody of personal material, for this reason it is not responsible for possible loss or damage to the personal material guarded.
• The contract and responsibility of Kayaking Costa Brava affects exclusively the direct work of its staff and the organization of the activity.
• From the confirmation of the reservation the client will expressly assume these General Conditions. In the event that a person books for another person(s), they assume on their behalf each and every one of these Conditions.

KAYAKING COSTA BRAVA is not responsible for the possible consequences due to the breach, by the client, of these conditions.

Our services include Civil Liability Insurance and Accident Insurance. Civil Liability Insurance No. 1200050146, Accident Insurance Policy No. 1300000361, contracted with the insurance company Berkley. Accident insurance does not cover from 85 years. Complete information on the conditions and coverage of the insurance is available to customers and will be sent to anyone who requests it.
