Rates are per kayak (except for custom rates for groups) and include VAT.
This price includes the necessary technical and safety equipment: kayak, life jacket, paddle, and spray skirt for sea kayaks.

Cancellation policy

1. At the time of booking confirmation, the customer must pay 100% of the total amount.
2. Our activities are subject to weather and sea conditions. For this reason, Kayaking Costa Brava may be forced to change or cancel bookings, even on the same day. In such cases, the customer is entitled to reschedule the activity or receive a refund.
3. If the cancellation or change is made by the customer, the following penalties will apply:
   • One day before: 50% of the total amount of the booking.
   • Same day: 100% of the total amount of the booking.

Activity requirements

• Ability to swim.
• Weight under 120 kg, height under 2 m (please contact the centre if your weight and/or height are equal to or exceed these limits).
• Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult/guardian. A minor will not be allowed to participate alone without proper authorization.
• Advance booking is recommended.
• Compliance with the equipment usage and safety rules is required, following the staff’s instructions, especially regarding wearing the life jacket at all times, respecting the kayak’s maximum capacity, and paying attention to weather or sea condition updates.
• Customers must inform the centre in advance of any disabilities, serious medical conditions, or pregnancy that may affect their ability to safely participate.
• Agreed rental start and return times must be respected.
• Arriving late at the meeting point may result in the partial or full loss of the booking.
• We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes early to get ready and start on time.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to reach the meeting point. Rental service takes place directly on the beaches of: Tamariu (Palafrugell), Platja de Castell (Palamós), Cala Montgó (l’Escala), and Portlligat (Cadaqués). The exact locations are available on our website. If the customer shows up at our office in l’Escala, Kayaking Costa Brava will not provide transport to the starting point, which may result in the loss of the booking.
• Our service is subject to changing weather and sea conditions, and Kayaking Costa Brava may have to make last-minute changes. Please check your messages before the activity. In such cases, Kayaking Costa Brava is not responsible for any unnecessary travel made by the customer.
• Customers must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that could impair their reaction time. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the booking with no refund.
• We advise against bringing valuables to the beach. Kayaking Costa Brava does not have suitable facilities for storing personal belongings and is not responsible for loss or damage.
• Kayaking Costa Brava’s responsibility is limited to the direct work of its staff and the organization of the activity.
• Upon booking confirmation, the customer explicitly agrees to all the General Terms and Conditions. If a person books on behalf of others, they accept these terms and conditions in the name of all participants.

Kayaking Costa Brava is not responsible for any consequences resulting from non-compliance with these conditions by the customer.
